Lama Ole’s wish to protect a beautiful view on the city from the Krasnoyarsk Buddhist Center is now fulfilled! We got 5000 m2 of land down the hill from the Enlightenment Stupa from the Krasnoyarsk city administration to make a public park during next 14 years.
According to Lama Ole’s advice, we plan to put 2 m high Buddha statue there. It will be Buddha Opame made of the local red granite. Blessing the project, Lama Ole said, that even after 500 years people will admire this Buddha statue!
Building of the Krasnoyarsk Buddhist Center, Stupa of Enlightenment and Buddha Park become complete architectural group, unique for a non-Buddhist area in Russia.
